PESHAQ's Original Delhi 6 Chole Masala Paste (Raw, Not Curry Paste) | 2 Sachets – Serves 4–6

History

Delhi 6 Chole, a soulful and robust chickpea curry, finds its heart in the winding lanes of Old Delhi’s Chandni Chowk — known locally as “Delhi 6”, a reference to its historic postal code. This dish is a beloved street-side classic, steeped in the aroma of bustling spice bazaars and the echoes of centuries-old Mughal kitchens.

What sets Delhi 6 Chole apart is its deep, dark color and layered flavors — the result of slow-cooking chickpeas in a blend of roasted spices, black cardamom, and a signature masala mix that’s both bold and balanced. It’s not just heat, but a complexity of tang, spice, and richness that makes each bite unforgettable.

Often served with kulchas or bhature fresh off the griddle, this dish carries the nostalgia of generations and the vibrant energy of Delhi’s most iconic food district. It is street food with soul — humble, hearty, and brimming with heritage.
